“ALSKOM” JSC reviewed the results of activities for the first 9 months of 2014 with the participation of regional branches.

17 October 2014        For the first 9 months of 2014, the growth of insurance premiums compared to the same period of 2013 amounted to 133%, 1,496 claims were reviewed and paid, including: legal entities with 1087 claims, and individuals with 409 claims. Compared with the corresponding period of 2013, the increase was by 910 applications or 2.4 times. The increase in the number of claims was due to an increase in claims for Voluntary Medical Insurance (VHI), the expansion of the Company's insurance business, an increase in insurance premiums and, accordingly, an increase in the probability of occurrence of insured events. Compared to the same period of 2013, the total amount of insurance payments made increased by 1.6 times.In the third quarter of this year, 11 new offices were additionally opened in the Andijan, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, and Fergana regions, as well as in the city of Tashkent.

The meeting addressed issues of improving the activities of regional branches, as well as establishing a forecast of insurance revenues for 2015.

Relevant decisions were made on the issues considered.
