Joint-stock company insurance company "ALSKOM" (License of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan series SF # 00211) has been operating in the insurance market of Uzbekistan since 1996, and makes a significant contribution to the development of insurance relations and the economy of the country as a whole. The company currently occupies a strong position in the list of leading insurance companies in Uzbekistan and has 20 branches and 128 branches throughout the country. In compliance with the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan no. PP-4412 dated 02.08.2019 "on measures to reform and ensure accelerated development of the insurance market of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in terms of increasing the authorized funds of insurers, the Company has made an additional issue of 7,250,000 units. common shares that were registered by the capital market development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 24.01.2020.
The size of the authorized Fund is one of the main indicators of the insurer's solvency and financial stability, which in turn affects the trust in it, as well as an indicator of the level of capitalization and the ability to take on insurance major risks.
On June 26 of this year, the sale of 7,250,000 shares of common shares of JSC ALSKOM IC with a nominal value of 1,380 soums was registered at RSE Toshkent. Thus, the requirements of PP-4412 in terms of increasing the authorized funds of insurers have been fulfilled and the Company will still be able to provide our partners and clients with high-quality insurance services.
