JSC SK ALSKOM reviewed the results of activities for the I quarter of 2015 with the participation of regional branches

On April 10, 2015, a meeting of the Board of Directors of IC “ALSKOM” JSC was held following the results of the first quarter of 2015. The meeting reviewed the results of the income support activities, the settlement of insurance claims, the qualitative improvement of the activities of regional branches, the increase in employee performance and other issues related to the Company's operations.

The increase in the volume of insurance premiums compared to the same period in 2014 was 161%, insurance obligations accepted 130%, the number of contracts signed 124%, the share of compulsory insurance accounted for 45% of the total insurance premium collected. In the reporting period, 934 claim cases were reviewed and settled. The growth of insurance payments made compared to the same period last year was 107%. The growth in the number of claims was due to the expansion of the Company's insurance business, an increase in the amount of insurance premiums received and, accordingly, an increase in the probability of occurrence of insurance claims.

In order to expand the Company's activities, in the reporting period, 6 new offices were additionally opened in the Andijan, Bukhara, Namangan and Surkhandarya regions, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Currently, the regional network of the company includes 15 territorial branches and 85 branches, as well as 170 insurance agents.

The share of regional branches in the total volume of collected insurance premiums for the Company was 85%, which indicates that the regional network has become the main component of the insurance activities of the Company.

In addition, the meeting addressed issues of further improving the activities of regional branches, the efficiency of employees' work and ensuring control over the clerical work.

Relevant decisions were made on the issues considered.
