Information Risk Insurance Department

Director:

The main tasks of the Department are the following:
  • conclusion of contracts with legal entities and individuals for insurance of information risks and other types of insurance;
  • wide promotion and implementation of the Company's insurance services among a wide range of potential customers;
  • ensuring correct and objective calculation of insurance payments and providing information to policyholders on insurance services;
  • ensuring the correct execution of insurance documents and their preservation;
  • interaction with expert (auditing) organizations for the examination (audit) of information security of information systems, assessment of the cost of information systems and the damage caused to them as a result of an insured event;
  • conducting actions to settle insurance claims under the concluded information risk insurance contracts in accordance with the current procedure in the Company; - ongoing accounting and analysis of the current activities of the Department, as well as the regional branches of the Company for the implementation of SIR;
  • ensuring timely reporting on the Department’s performance;
  • promotion of SIR services based on an analysis of the insurance market, studying, finding promising areas for the development of the Department’s activities and attracting potential policyholders to cooperate in this direction;
  • ensuring the effective functioning and continuous improvement of the Company's quality management system;
  • The functions of the department include the following:
  • negotiating, determining the conditions of insurance information risks;
  • development of proposals for the insurance of information risks;
  • conducting pre-insurance monitoring of the insurance object and, based on the analysis of the data obtained, develops insurance terms
  • preparation of materials for the examination (audit) of information systems from information risks for a specific application of the applicant (policyholder) and interaction with expert (audit) organizations, if necessary;
  • consideration and implementation of the recommendations received as a result of the examination (audit) conducted by expert (auditing) organizations;
  • conclusion of information risk insurance contracts; - monitoring (accounting) for information risk insurance;
  • search, collection of references, opinions, other documentary data and information for a qualified consideration of the stated claims of the Company's clients regarding insurance of information risks;
  • assessment of the damage caused to the insured objects of insurance by attracting expert organizations;
  • preparing materials for transmission and review by the Insurance Claims Commission of the Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Commission”);
  • control over the enforcement of decisions of the Commission, insurance acts (on payment or refusal to pay insurance compensation) for each case considered and keeping records of their execution;
  • organization of a systematic accounting and storage of incoming claims of the Company's clients on the payment of insurance claims for insurance of information risks;
  • observance of the established procedure, conditions, terms and forms of execution of contractual documents, as well as strict adherence to internal and external legislative and regulatory acts;
  • compliance with the Company's insurance rules and the legal framework, methodological, instructional and other regulatory and internal documents of the Company, continuous study and analysis of the internal legal framework in order to more clearly understand the properties and features of the insurance services provided.
