Insurance Reserve Department

The main tasks of the Department are the following:

  • Ensuring the maintenance of the insurance portfolio of the Company in accordance with the law;
  • Ensuring the formation of insurance reserves in accordance with the law;
  • Ensuring the implementation of reinsurance operations in order to improve the financial stability of the Company and record them;
  • Ensuring the maintenance of statistical records and providing management of the Company and departments with data for management accounting;
  • Maintaining an automated database system for voluntary types of insurance;
  • Improving the calculation of insurance reserves and workflow for their accounting;
  • Coordination of the activities of branches in the preparation and delivery of reports for the maintenance of the insurance portfolio and the calculation of insurance reserves;
  • Organization and development of external business relations;
  • Execution of other decisions of the Company's management bodies.

The functions of the department include the following:

  • Formation of the insurance portfolio of the Company and control over the correct preparation of insurance reports by branches;
  • Collection and storage of primary documents and reports provided by structural divisions of the Company;
  • Monitoring the assumed obligations of the Company in order to detect and ensure the subsequent transfer to reinsurance of the part of the obligations exceeding the maximum allowable amount;
  • Preparation of consolidated reports of the Company, periodic statistical and insurance reporting and submission of them to the authorized bodies in the prescribed manner;
  • Analysis of the insurance portfolio, the calculation of regulatory and other indicators, the study of the dynamics of changes in the indicators of the insurance activities of the Company;
  • Assessment of the Company's sustainability based on factor analysis in areas such as the balance of the insurance portfolio, the development and stability of the customer base, reinsurance policy, etc .;
  • Inspection of acts of completed work on the execution of insurance contracts (policies) and preparation of orders for the payment of agency fees to insurance agents of the Head Office, as well as verification of primary documents for remuneration of the Company's employees under direct insurance contracts.
  •  Submission of proposals and participation in the Board of Directors of the Company;
  • Carrying out other activities necessary to perform the tasks assigned to the Department.
